Funding your training
There are various types of funding available for teacher training - depending on your circumstances, you could receive:
- Tax-free bursary or scholarship
- Tuition Fee Loan and Maintenance Loan
Apprenticeships
To commence training via this route the applicant needs to first successfully secure an apprenticeship (i.e. paid employment within a school) via the national apprenticeship vacancies website or internally within a school they are already employed. Once this is secure the applicant can then apply for a place on our teacher training programme (in line with our safer recruitment procedures).
School employers may wish to contact Kingsbridge to discuss training options for an existing employee of its workforce for more details click here

There are three types of funding available for teacher training - depending on your circumstances, you could receive all three:
1. Tax-free bursary or scholarship
2. Tuition Fee Loan and Maintenance Loan
3. Additional financial support if you’re a parent, have an adult dependent or have a disability
